Hi, I'm Amal.

I work somewhere between art, film, design, tech and people, and I've never fit neatly into one box. Roots in India, based in Qatar. I let the story decide the form. So far that's meant projection mapping, 360° VR, docufiction and ads. The themes I keep coming back to are people, diaspora, surveillance, bureaucracy and the systems we live inside.

Right now I'm a multimedia designer at FP7 McCann, part of the agency's team embedded at Ooredoo Qatar. I've worked on major Ooredoo events such as the Ooredoo Doha Marathon, Web Summit, Formula 1 and MotoGP, and campaigns like the Nojoom 15th anniversary. I studied Film and Video Communication at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, from 2019 to 2024.
