An exploration without showing shoes. Everyone is familiar with the brand to a point where we don't need to advertise it.
Bata is so widely recognized that we chose not to show the product at all. Instead of close-ups of footwear, the film focuses entirely on posture, everyday movement, and the quiet comfort of the people wearing them.
The spot ends with an intentional pause:
“So good you don’t even it.”
The blank lets the viewer complete the thought—whether that’s feel, notice, or think about. When footwear is truly comfortable, you forget you’re wearing it.
Developed at NID Ahmedabad with faculty guide Hitesh Chaurasia, and shot on campus in a 4:3 aspect ratio with cinematographer Lakshmi Vidyasagar.
