The Song of the Strangled Sparrow was a live participatory performance staged at The Fountain, NID Ahmedabad. Individual visitors navigated a light-and-shadow labyrinth across the modernist concrete plaza, encountering spatial soundscapes, suspended sculptural sparrows, and narratives of systemic silencing.
Collaborated on building and lighting the physical participatory installation at The Fountain, working with the concrete columns and open-air geometry behind Panorama at NID Ahmedabad. The space was transformed across two nights using directional spotlights, deep shadow zones, and haze to construct an immersive nocturnal labyrinth.
Captured the live participatory show handheld in near-total darkness over two nights (January 4–5, 2022). The documentation tracks individual visitors navigating sound stations, illuminated hanging sparrows, and personal story scrolls, prioritizing practical light beams and unposed human interaction.
